ABOUT NDP–MN
Welcome to the Minnesota Web site for the 60th Annual National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer (NDP) was established by an act of Congress to be the first Thursday in May every year. It is a government sanctioned day which encourages Americans to pray for our nation, leaders, education systems and churches.
For many years, individual volunteers and unified church bodies throughout Minnesota have organized local events to celebrate the National Day of Prayer. The State Coordinating Committee promotes the National Day of Prayer in Minnesota, provides resources and training, and coordinates NDP events among our communities.
